Eligible organisations must score at least 7/10 to go forward to The Final of The BHA Local Groups Best Website 2008 HASSERS Competition; however no organisations in this Regional Group reached this score.
You say "Congratulations to Humanist Society Scotland AND Humani. They both go forward to The Final of The BHA Local Groups Best Website 2008 HASSERS Competition"
ReplyDeleteI don't take too kindly to the suggestion that the HSS is a "BHA local groups" and I don't think Humani will either. Neither organisation is part of the BHA - we are national organisations that are totally independent of the BHA. The HSS has local groups of its own all over Scotland, as is evident on our website. Furthermore, the HSS is now a wealthy organisation that can afford a professional designer. It would be fair enough to compare it to the BHA's website and to the website of other national organisations around the world (in which case it would probably lose because of all the errors, quotes from muslims and dull photos) but it is hardly fair to compare us to those of BHA local groups!
Jem, thanks for your comments.
ReplyDeleteThe national HSS is not affiliated to BHA therefore HSS is ineligble for this competition.
Humani is affiliated to BHA http://www.nireland.humanists.net/links.html
but as it is a national organisation, not a local group, therefore is also not eligible for this competition.
I'v updated the post to reflect these changes.
